The Dam at Raintree

Raintree is an idyllic property bordered by William Bay National Park, home to The Dam — an impressive cocktail bar and restaurant. It also features a distillery, producing spirits made from cannabis grown onsite. 

Valley of the Giants

This iconic Tree Top Walk provides a bird’s eye view of life in the canopy from a 600-metre walkway that’s suspended 40metres above the ground. Closer to the ground is the Ancient Empire, where a trail meanders through the forest’s 400-year-old red tingle trees. You might even be lucky enough to spot a mainland quokka here!.

Surf, Swim and Sun

Denmark is blessed with beautiful beaches. Best known are Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks in the William Bay National Park, but Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach are often less crowded. Parry Beach, Peaceful Bay, and Wilson Inlet’s Prawn Rock Channel will also impress water-worshipers. 

Winery Lunches

Award-winning chef Silas Masih brings his Fijian Indian heritage and seasonal produce into the menu at Pepper and Salt, based at Forest Hill Winery; while Lake House Winery produce gourmet platters featuring fruit and veg from its organic kitchen garden.

Monkey Rock

This large granite rock is one of Denmark’s most distinctive landmarks and a climb to the top reveals breathtaking views of the coastline and hinterland. The 20-30-minute walk is not overly difficult but take care as it can be slippery after rain.

Local Delights

Enjoy delicious artisan delights from the local producers like Denmark Chocolate Company and Denmark Good Food Factory. From mouth-watering chocolates and homemade toffees, plus chutneys and preserves, to cider and spirits.
